The strategic partnership between Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), Malmsten USA, S&R Sport and Delfina USA

The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) is currently in a strategic partnership with Malmsten, S&R Sport and Delfina USA. This four-year collaboration, runs from the 2022-23 season through 2025-26, and has promised to enhance the competitive landscape of the sport.
As part of this agreement, DelfinaUSA became the official ball provider for the conference, supplying MPSF teams with high-quality water polo balls for both the regular season and the MPSF Championship Tournament. Malmsten, a Swedish company, was established in 1974, and is known for providing equipment for prestigious events like the Olympic Games and World Championships. Each MPSF Championship Tournament now features Malmsten’s FINA goals and accessories, offering a top-tier professional setup. With over 32 years of experience, S&R Sport, one of the world’s oldest aquatics supply companies, is responsible for delivering both Delfina balls and Malmsten equipment to MPSF teams.

The support of our coaches in reaching this agreement was crucial. Delfina and Malmsten’s products set us apart from other conferences, and seeing a course setup that mirrors the FINA World Championships is an exciting moment for our athletes. The MPSF hosts men’s water polo competition at eight institutions, including Augustana College, Austin College, University of California, Penn State Behrend, Stanford, UCLA, USC, and Washington & Jefferson. On the women’s side, Arizona State, California, Indiana, San Jose State, Stanford, UCLA, and USC represent the seven competing schools. Since its inception in 1992, MPSF teams have won every NCAA Championship in men’s and women’s water polo.
