That’s a Wrap on the 2025 Junior Olympics!

It all started at the Session 1 Expo in California, and from the second we arrived, you could feel it — that electric JO energy in the air. Athletes buzzing around with their teams, families loading up on gear, music pumping, and the countdown to the first game officially on. Everyone was hyped, and the love for Delfina USA was real. Water Polo athletes stopped by the booth to say hi, share their goals for the tournament, and check out the latest Delfina gear. Whether they were picking up a fresh suit, snagging a new corduroy trucker hat, or just repping the brand they love, the excitement on their faces said it all — it was the perfect kickoff.
The next morning at Woollett Aquatic Center, the pools were calm and quiet while we were setting up. It was almost surreal — this peaceful stillness before the storm of competition. Then, the athletes started arriving. One team after another, ready to put it all on the line. The magic was instant. Suddenly, the pool deck came alive — with energy, focus, and the sound of teams getting locked in.
Sessions 1 and 2 in California were stacked with incredible talent. We had the opportunity to meet many amazing athletes, parents, and coaches — and we left every day feeling inspired. There was so much positivity, strength, and respect for the sport, and it reminded us why we do what we do. Watching athletes battle it out in the pool, fight for every goal, celebrate the wins (and learn from the losses) — it was pure JO magic.
And then came Session 3 in Texas. Four action-packed days of high-level water polo brought together athletes from all over the country, and the competition did not disappoint. The energy on deck was intense — every sprint, pass, and shot carried the weight of a season’s worth of training. Teams gave it their all, and the atmosphere was filled with heart, hustle, and unforgettable moments.

Every cheer from the stands, every tag in a post, and every kind word fuels our passion for serving the water polo community. Whether it was a gold medal moment or a hard-fought learning experience, every team added something special to this year’s tournament. We saw athletes leveling up their skills, learning what it really means to work as a team, and celebrating every small win. There was so much pride and joy in just being there — competing at the biggest water polo tournament in the USA.
And for us at Delfina USA powered by S&R Sport? The best part was seeing so many athletes proudly rocking Delfina suits, caps, hooded towels, backpacks, and more. It means the world to know we’re a small part of your journey in this sport we all love.
So from California to Texas, thank you. Thank you to the athletes who gave it their all. Thank you to the parents and coaches who supported every step. Thank you to USA Water Polo for organizing an incredible tournament and giving athletes a stage to shine. And thank you to the sport of water polo — for reminding us what passion, community, and dedication look like.
