Not only do they help players, coaches, and referees identify the players during games and practices, they help protect the players’ ears and heads from potential injury during rough play. This water polo headgear is cleverly designed to protrude far enough from the head to prevent an eardrum injury if the player is hit with a ball. Small holes in the hard plastic of the ear coverings allow the players to hear their teammates and coaches during play while preventing water from rushing into the ear canal.

Water Polo Hat Care
Caring for your water polo cap is essential for your own health as a player, as well as the cap's longevity. Thoroughly dry your cap in between practices, training sessions, and games, as storing them wet or damp can lead to mildew growth and deterioration of the fabric. Avoid throwing them into a washing machine, as the heat and agitation can harm the materials used in their construction. Hand-wash with a mild detergent in lukewarm water and hang dry for best results.
